I refuse to believe it becase it isn't true!

Post by Mirage »

I work with a workforce of about 90% female, 10% male, and the types of conversation you hear when women get together is just plain, 'aaaaaaaaaaaaah!'

Well, earlier today they were going on about shaving their legs. I know it happens but I refuse to believe it.

Women only have hair on their head, and you know where, other than that they don't have any hair therefore no need to shave!

Even elderly ladies with beards and stuff don't really exist it's all a lie I tell you, a lie!

Women do not shave!

Sure. Self delusion is great, isn't it?

As my Art and Culture Professor said yesterday, "Too much reality can drive one mad."

What I wanna know...

Post by Denyer »

...is why the heck anyone would want to be perfumed, de-haired and painted parodies. Why the f#cking obsession with artificiality?

Sorry, this be one of my pet peeves...

One of the scariest things is when women shave off their eyebrows and then draw new ones on their face, I don't get it?

I'll admit, the shaving of the eyebrows thing is... really, really weird (even I don't get that one... :p), but, c'mon, the rest is just proper grooming!

Electrolysis...

...I can perhaps see the point in. But the fact is, shaving just damages your skin, and has to be repeated lots. And it looks rubbish in-between.

Wax? That has slightly more potential... but I still reckon that if you're gonna do something, you might as well do it properly for a while and then not have to bother.
