Alternators repro labels for Jazz & Tracks / new Canadian site

Post by Denyer »

http://www.praxus.ca has just launched, bringing with it as an opening salvo a competition with prizes and this gallery...

http://www.praxus.ca/gallery.php?gallery=jazz

The labels to spruce up your Alternators toys and make them look more like the original characters come, unsurprisingly, from the talent at http://www.reprolabels.com and the Praxus gallery also includes a Prowl customised from an Alternators Silverstreak.

No way I'm slapping those ugly things on my BTs. If it were an existing Mazda racing decal pattern, I could understand it, but...

That'd be like slapping a huge "PORSCHE" sticker on Meister and pretend he's actually G1 Jazz.
Or slapping a huge "FAIRLADY" sticker on Streak.
Or slapping a flaming hood decal on Tracks. Oh, wait, Takara actually does this.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Works for me. I've never cared about things like makes/models of cars, and I don't display TFs in vehicle modes...

I'm up for those stickers too. Racing stripes for Meister, Military stars for Hound, and Hood firepattern for Tracks. Good stuff all around!

But...it looks so purty...

It's not about being G1, it's just about being JAZZ. I mean, if you don't like the stickers, okay. But to say that applying them is some sort of throwback, (and I can't argue that) then I suppose so is the fact that the Alts/BTs have G1-styled heads on them. And I don't think anyone has issues with that.

And if they do, it's that they don't look ENOUGH like their G1 counterparts. :D

Either would work pretty well, I think.

I like the first one. It does tend to capture the Jazz feel and be something current/related to the new car mode.
