What's your Alignment (take this handy-dandy Quiz)

Post by The Green Knight »

Let's see who's a goody-goody and who's Evil, with this quiz that tells your alignment, that thing from D&D.

http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~whuang/align.html

Oh, since I never actually played D&D, I had no idea what the hell these things meant. Fortunately, I found this online guide and included it to tell you what kind of goody-two-shoes, apathetic oaf, or rotten bastard you are...

Oh, I am Lawful Evil...

I think I should have made this a poll...

Neutral Good

I usually go for Paladin's also and I did score a Lawful Good on the Official D&D Test, but I saw this one coming a mile away. It's the same as Ultima IV where i thought I'd be sure to get the Valour virtue but because of the tricky questions compassion got the best of me and I ended up as a bard.

But still, I'm kind of proud to get Lawful Good/Neutral Good on all the tests I've taken. That has to prove something about me.

Oh and Snake, thanks for the link. That was propably the best expanation of D&D aligments I've seen. And Lawful Evil fits perfectly in Cobra Co's personality.

EDIT:
I did the test found on the aligment explanation site Snake gave and scored 53 which resulted as such:

Good (Lawful&Neutral) - You are basically a good doer, though you enjoy the rewards, whether they are fortune or fame, your typical hero adventurer.

Not bad.

That's why CobraCo is the best, and most other Evil Empires are flash-in-the-pan; They simply don't make Terrorists like they used to...

* You have 12 points towards Lawful.
* You have no good/evil bias.

Analysis
You are Lawful Neutral.

Yeah! Paladin for hire, Solider for any job avaiable.

Lawful Neutral
"Judge"

A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and organization are paramount to her. She may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or she may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government. Ember, a monk who follows her discipline without being swayed by the demands of those in need nor by temptations of evil, is lawful neutral.
excerpt Player's Handbook p 89

# Keeps his word of honor.
# Lies and cheats only if very necessary.
# Never attacks or harms an unarmed foe.
# Never harms an innocent.
# Does not use torture unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. (Never for pleasure).
# Never kills for pleasure.
# Usually helps those in need.
# Works in groups well, especially if it suits his needs.
# Never betrays a friend.
# Has a high regard for life and personal freedom.

No paladin for you, young man.

As the description says, lawful neutral is more of a police officer. Destined to obey the law, no matter if the outcome is good or evil.

Raw Data
* You have 12 points towards Chaos.
* You have 26 points towards Evil.
Analysis
You are Chaotic Evil.
--------------------
Chaotic Evil
"Destroyer"

A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can only be made to work together by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him. The demented sorcerer pursuing mad schemes of vengeance and havoc is chaotic evil.

*Rarely keeps his word. Has no honor.
*Lies and cheats anyone.
*Will most certainly attack and kill an unarmed foe (those are the best kind!).
*Will hurt and/or kill an innocent without a second thought. (or for pleasure).
*Uses torture to extract information and pleasure.
*Will kill for sheer pleasure.
*Is likely to help someone only on a whim.
*Despises honor and authority and self-discipline. Views them as weaknesses
*Does not work well in a group.
*Constantly vying for power and/or command.
*Will betray a friend. After all, you can always get another friend.
*Associates mostly with other evil alignments.
----------------------------------------

Well, I have two things to say about that:

Boo and ya

Raw Data

* You have 5 points towards Chaos.
* You have 17 points towards Evil.

Analysis
You are Neutral Evil.

Neutral Good
"Benefactor"

A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Jozan, a cleric who helps others according to their needs, is neutral good.
excerpt Player's Handbook p 89

# Always keeps his word.
# Is VERY unlikely to lie, expect perhaps to an evil person.
# Never attacks or kills an unarmed foe.
# Never harms an innocent
# Never tortures for any reason. Is very unlikely to allow torture for any reason.
# Never kills for pleasure.
# Always tries to help others.
# Works well in groups
# Never betrays a friend.

That quiz is f*cked. How could I be 'neutral" evil?!

You are True Neutral with Lawful tendencies.

A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most neutrality is a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil. After all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, she's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Mialee, a wizard who devotes herself to her art and is bored by the semantics of moral debate, is neutral.

-Keeps his word of honor
-Lies and cheats only if necessary.
-Never kills an unarmed foe, but may harm, harrass, or kidnap one.
-Never kills an innocent but may harm or kidnap if necessary.
-May use torture to extract information but never for pleasure. (Ya right)
-Never kills for pleasure
-Usually helps those in need.
-Will work with others to attain his goals.
-Never betrays a friend.
-Has a high regard for life and personal freedom.
-Respects Honor and self discipline. (HA)

7 to chaos, 15 to good.

Neutral Good...yeah, that's about what I am in real life, and my characters tend to stay in the good range...although my favorite character of all time is Chaotic Neutral...

Yesss...mine too. We had a chaotic neutral hobbit. We called him the Mad Hobbit, and our Minotaur used him as a baseball, throwing him into an enemy's nutsack(he rolled the 20), and doing big damage.

Heh, mine's a mage a bit fond of fire...low levels had him chucking oil-flask molotov cocktails left and right...and using a longsword - yep, used a whole feat just to use a longsword. He ended up being CN because I played him as such an arrogant, self-centered jerk...he did good though and had no evil intentions.

Of course, Sir Auros was my paladin...

Had some good barbarians, all clerics were multi-classed, and NEVER played a rogue...

I always got trapped in the hero character roles...paladins generally. I've never been much of a magic-user. Though I did learn a number of things from that campaign, namely...Do not talk smack to the dragon. The Hobbit did that, lucky for him there was the fastball special to resort to. I actually played a Ninja in the campaign...or did I? After all, they aren't supposed to exist...

Right now I'm playing a corrupted female samurai in Legend of the Five Rings...fighting her innate training, her duty to the bad guys, and feelings for one of the other members of the party...I've grown so much as an RP'er from it. A fun challenge is what I call it.
