Would the reason you changed screen-name have something to do with you being unable to remember which letter "Starscream" starts with?

But yeh, another point for "And I give a **** why...?". Only really came in to snark.

Yeh, ha ha.

i dunno- some jerk is know known as some other jerk...

@angloconvoy- in the metal community, putting an X at the begining and end of ones name is a signifier that they are straight edge- most people don't realise the signifigance of this and use it incorrectly... the way this is usually done by hardcore SXE kids is to put it like this XfirstnameXlastnameX- signifieng the three Xs of straightedge philosophy: no drugs, no aclchohol/smoking, no promiscuity...

...wheres my "the more you learn" thingy?

yeah- i got told by alot of people that calling myself "straightedge" was pretentious as hell... and now that the so-called "community" of straightedge guys at shows now shun me because i don't agree with their beliefs, and the fact that i like a beer every now and then- shows me how asanine it really is...

meh- another lesson in life...

and when you stop being a teenager none of these little groups stop existing.

*edit* i think im going to leave that sentence like it is because it makes absolutely no sense to the point of hilarity. I think you can see my point though.*edit*

i am growing angrily aware that "highschool" bullsh*t never seems to end... oh- and that sentence made sense- just not the point you intended, i believe...

Haha. :p

But has no one else noticed that though the little cliques of schooldays past do "stop existing", they're replaced to a lesser degree with new ones? Hm.

Less of the anger, more of the trying to find your own way through 'em, I say. They're still there, but they're... "looser"? More accepting, I suppose.

At least, the ones worth bothering yourself over are. imo.

nah- it's at how childish some people get- and partially the fact that i used to be aquainted with some of them-

but i have always been the guy in any group (highschool and otherwise) of friends to stand up and say "this doesn't affect me, i'm still friends with them" and anyone who falls in the wayside didn't matter anyway- cold as it sounds...

eh im 23 and in the "real world" i no longer see any such "cliques" unless you mean like circle of friends or whatever but no arbitrary ones such as "these guys wear yellow sox" while "these guys are fond of blue".

also how lame is the concept of straight edge....it doesnt even make sense. you don't want to drink/do drugs don't. if you do then fine. how is that a rank or something?. children make no sense.

I'm going to start putting little "c'c's" over my name because i like to wind my watch counter clockwise anyone want to start putting "c" over theres as we must identify ourselves with something asinine and trivial?
