Strange that they would include Cheetor, actually. (Henkei seems to be solidly a new G1 take, after all). I'm wondering if Ratchet keeps getting pushed back in order to better time it with a Western release.

I saw pictures of Cheetor properly transformed..... Or I suppose correctly earlier, I really don't care for him. Mainly the forearms and feet are what bug me. I have the original BW re-issue Cheetor from back when who seems more show accurate except for the chest area. I am just going to pass on him sadly, had high expectations, but just the kibble on the forearms, and then the leg transformation isn't doing it for me.

a serious point (however unintentional): the 'chrome' dosen't have to be silver (see astrotrains' shiney purple, hotrodshotimus' gold, etc). am of the thinking it will just be the shuriken and/or the blue on his robot mode. either way, its still a pass for me. cheetor just isn't a desriable figure for me. heres hoping for a henkei dinobot (with chrome sword).

personally, i'm more interested in henkei ravage (yes, the one with hound).... i'm wondering if (and how) it will be different?

I actually had that thought about 5 minutes after my first post. In all seriousness I'm agreeing with Auros. I doubt it will actually be silver chrome, most likely some gold like on Hot Rodimus and/or some blue. Either way I'd rather have him without the chrome.

I thought about the transmetal idea as well, but i don't think so. If only because the others have had little chrome, and i doubt you want something with a lot of chrome selling next to something with little chrome. Also, i doubt the cost would be worth it.

- Ratchet is now C-14.

- "Hotroad" is indeed Armada Hot Shot, aka Hot Rod. First public prototype pic.
