Watched it a few times, all I can say is "WOW!" This was a co-production between [Insert Japanese Name] Company and Urban Vision. Something that made it more intriguing is the fact that the Japanese company decided to make English the original language over Japanese. Odd. However, it was pulled off nicely with outstanding animation and music score. The slightly new D character designs and personality stay true to the original D from the OVA released back in 1985. The DVD is loaded plenty of Bonus material including the Japanese, US and Korean Trailers/TV spots, Storyboard to Feature Comparison, and a Making Of Documentary for the Movie. The actual movie is presented in 5.1 English with progressive encoded, Anamorphic widescreen picture. Very nice release.
Three words: BUY BUY BUY!
