do the insecticons come with the cubes near them?
cause if it is,the timing is funny.now that unicron.com made the energy cubes...

The white cards says "TFC-16 INSECTRONS [I guess the Japanese word means something like "with"] ENERGON CUBES".

Definitely looking forward to the Insecticon set. As for the new Smokescreen, other than the shoulder cannon and decal changes, I don't notice any real difference between it and my Smokescreen. I don't think I'll be getting it.

I doubt there's a market for the Deluxe Insecticons. The originals will sell pretty well, though, and the cubes are a nice gimmick (especially since they have chest compartments to store them in.)

Smokescreen is a bit annoying, but I'd rather find a suitably sized weapon for the Alternator I've already got than fork out again...

Tracks is looking better, although he's a veritable forest of kibble.

Takara doesn't own the rights to the Deluxe Insecticons molds.

Like they don't own the rights to Shockwave, Sky Lynx, Omega Supreme, Whirl, Roadbuster and Jetfire.

That'd be Bulkhead. He actually only has 2 arms. The big claw things are just part of a weird backpack accessory.

Actually, the new Smokescreen release was most probably part of the deal with Subaru ("make sure you include the new model for every year!"). The real changes are, apart from the paintjob, a remolded front bumper, an added roof vent and new hubcaps, just like on the real WRC. The launcher is Takara's little addition to make people really want to buy it.
I bet the 2005 model is goint to include two launchers.

I'm betting he comes with two launchers but they only sent one pair along with the two display pieces. I don't think most car manufacturers would be entirely happy with the missiles being attached to the car mode in promotional shots.

do you think theyll come out with another rally car? maybe an EVO8 lancer? that would be freakin cool..
