Wow some of those prototypes have changed. Plus i like how they show even more how Gestalts are humanless megazords and man Galvy was a pale mofo

It looks like many of the designers were overly optimistic about how much articulation was possible at the time.

I particularly like 'Dobledealer' although think it was a good move to add an extra 'u' for final production.

Lord Vulcan looks cool.

Interesting pictures! Thanks for sharing.

And it is interesting that the actual concept sketches don't look out of place next to modern Transformers. I guess it's just the technology is finally catching up with the designs.
