[Original RPG] A couple of dumb questions before I get started

Ok, first off, I want to get into the RPG
Made up my own characters

What I don't understand is this 40 points system. Is there an explanation of it floating around before I get going? Can someone post it and I'll see if I can figure it out.

2nd: as I said, I just created some characters (2 sorta) and I was wondering if a Mod\GM would mind reviewing them before I post them, as I just want to make sure they're ok.

3. Characters choices are based on a 40 point limit. To find the point total for any character simply add all stats (not including rank) and divide by 7. For Combiner teams add the gestalt stats, divide by 7 then multiply by 2. (remove stuff about fanmade chars).

As long as it's not another leader, or the stats are too wonky, I'm sure it will be OK.

ok, so with the 40 point thing : I devide by 7 and get a number around 6.5 (that's their averages) then do I add them up and as long as all the guys in my "team" are under a total of 40 I can use them all?

in my characters back story that's where he's headed (I read Scouts little synopsis).

But I might have him either stop off at the moon or the Ark, what ever's easier (is anyone at the ark? I'm not that far in the story, everyones still floating around in space)

I believe Mount Saint Hilary was destroyed when the Decepticons took control of Earth, so the Ark would be out of the question... Moon is okay, though.

Crud, and I had a really funny idea for the ark, ah well

Just finished reading the current thread, and no one's actually on the moon, so, if it gets approved, maybe I'll just land in Navada or something

No but the Autobots that were on earth (Blaster, Magnus, Sideswipe and others) Upgraded the Ark and flew it back to Cybertron

Yes, but that doesn't mean the Ark is there, does it? My point was that that location is obsolete. Nothing remains.

Yes-
Reflector and I came to a conclusion that since Mt. St. Hilary perhaps wasn't destroyed and the Ark had been upgraded as a whole, combined with the fact that Decepticons have been running around on the planet... all that would be left would be the shell- and not even all of that. Just pieces of what was too unuseable or salvageable. There's nothing left of any value at all, except the background of the place to bring in a new player.
