Can I just point out that this article originally came from TFormers.com with the direct link -- http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=2473&mode=flat
I think in this case several places got the news; there are more than a few Target employees and managers around.
What would be useful is if people could quote the text of stories, especially when they're just a few lines and the only link you have to them is to a news page which changes daily.
edit: I've edited the initial post. Seriously, the trouble is that in a day or two that piece of news will be way down the page you linked, Spidey.

Posted wrong link
Sorry, I meant to put the quote. I linked it cause I'm absent-minded.

And can I point out that we posted it 30 minutes before tformers? If you go by the time stamps, it seems that Allspark.com had it first but I have no way of knowing this. We were informed by a user via email.

Break it up, you two.
I'm guessing that the info came indirectly from Mouth in each instance, but he isn't the only person who can query a computer...
It'd be nice if all news sites gave full credit, and that's hard to do except in a discussion environment where you can badger people about where they got their info. Not much use in a scoop if the information subsequently turns out to be a prank someone's just mailed you:

^^^ Such as this Quintesson 'prototype', which turned out to be a kitbash.

of course with the way hasbro uses names...such as armada smoke screen and the like he could end up being anything. i think there were a few minicons with G1 names and the like.....anyway on the other hand thats a pretty momentous name to ressurect and one would hope bothering to bring it back would make for an equally momentous toy....and not annother repaint or something...

Yeah, I did notice that...but I can hope!
ditto.. Like someone said on the 2005 forums - the "battleship" mode does look kinda the Yamoto from Starblazers, which would kickass if it is indeed the real deal...
here's looking forward to being wrong! (about the pics being fake that is)
Hope it's real
I hope it's real, but I hope one of the modes is a car. I hope it some what adheres to the G1 version.
