Megatron, the victim of political correctness, yet again

Post by Almighty Galvatron »

Remember how political correctness took Megatron's original alt mode from him? Well, now it seems that being a tank is no longer acceptable either:

It's just the Happy Meal toys.

Happy Meal toys are **** anyway, so it's no big deal.

Kinda pathetic how people think tanks are bad only when there is a war going on.

Some people won't be happy until TFs all change into 'Care Bears'.

Stupid parents. I hate people like that. They're the type of people that shouldn't be having children. Next thing you know, they'll be protesting the sale of GI Joe figures.

And even then they'd probably boot out Care Bear Grumpy. :glance:

to me that is really lame.. its kinda of funny how we can't have toys that represent something that is "war" like.. or "killing" like... They shouldn't be saying ****, considering that we have games the promote DEATH and slaying and stuff like.. or shows that teach us how to make bombs and stuff.... well thats just my opinion...

Wonder why they don't remove those G.I.Joes military toys from TRU store I visit from time to time. This is really stupid.

i think the useless b****rds at Xtra have taken it down, but all it really said that Liam Jeory, head of maccas NZ was dropping the TF armada happy meal campaign because of the iraq thing and because Megatton is a tank in alt mode. some useless w**kers went and laid some official complaint or some s**t and the gutless guys at mcDs gave in to the pressure.

no mention of the fact that cyclonus turns into a helicopter equipped with large missiles, starscream is a combat fighter jet and demolishor is a tank too. i think someone out there just hates megatron.

Off topic:

Why are the two care bears wearing rain coats? And why the one in the right is about to open his? He's got the Care Bear Logo on his coat so he wouldn't have to do it for the Care Bear Stare.

I think some of the Care bears aren't that innocent...

It's no longer listed on the idex page, which is where I had to go to see it in the first place.

It's from one of the movies, I think those two were working on some transporter device back at the HQ, where it was raining, and had just gotten it working. So they beamed over with the rest of the gang to face off against the bad guy. Yes, I know, I know way too much...

Notice how I used words like "transporter device", "HQ" and "beamed over" to make it sound less girly?

tempest (excuse the lack of leet), the TF armada promotion was run in the states months ago, it's because somone in either NZ or australia (probably someone from both sides of the ditch) complained that they've been withdrawn here. Just out of interest, were the autobots available in australia?
