God Ginrai's Arrived!!

WEYYYYYHEEYYY!!!!

hahaha!!

Having had both the European release of PM Optimus Prime, and not the Japanese re-release I've noticed a couple of differences.

On the re-release the hands for the PM Prime slide in and out, where as on the european they were solid plastic mold.
Also the prime cab itself is metal and clear (well, blue) plastic, but if I remember correctly the European release it's all solid plastic..

Anywho back to the point, God Ginrai's not quite as tall as Overlord (bought 3 inches between them) but they do look pretty impressive stood beside each other.

I'd put the stickers on him now but I gotta go to work :(

The entire arm moulding on the "super" mode is different... the silver parts are an entirely different colour... the smaller robot has blue eyes instead of red...

Have I mentioned that I hate ya, hon? ;) I think the biggest Transformer I have is RiD Ops/Mags combined... is it near in size to that? Bigger?

Why do they make the releases different from each other, anyways? :confused:

... Western children can't be trusted with anything pretty...

And God Fire Omega Convoy Prime is roughly the same height as God Jinrai... possibly a shade taller... stick the gun on his shoulders and he be much bigger than the Japanese brick!

Even bigger than Predaking? Man I gonna have to take out my Overlord someday and compare their sizes. ;)

It's not a matter of The re-issue being different to PM Optimus Prime.

The american PM Prime had solid hands, and a solid cab, while the Japanese God Ginrai was more metal, with clear windows and retractable hands.

And of course, that means that the reissue has copied the Japanese version, which is proper...
