Is that the Gobots base shuttle walky thinger?

Awesome.

I remember nearly making my dad buy me one from Menzies in Bath in about 1988. I made him buy me something else instead, though, but I can't remember what...

I've always kinda regretted not getting it.

I have no idea really what I'm going to do with the thing... probably just set up a display for the bestest Guardians or something. I've just always liked the idea of dedicated playsets (like Countdown), and especially when they won't sacrifice stuff so they can turn into a big, boxy robot. Plus it has a bloody Cafeteria. Holy socks!

I'm just kinda regretting leaving a Thruster (Renegade shuttle playset) go on ebay last month now :(

The Command Centre's actually a bit disappointing, TBH. If it wasn't for the packaging, I'd think it's a knock-off... Plastic's very weak, the scale's a bit poor (only small small Gobots can fit in most rooms), the lift can't support the weight of most figures... It's kinda fun - I mean, it has a cafeteria:

But it's just a bit cheap and tacky compared to the quality of the Gobot figures themselves... :(

Oh well :)

I mean, they could have done figures for the two dinner ladies or something. I'd have been all over that. They could have been called Dinar and Cook Hook or something.

Jamie Oliver would cry to see such unhealthy food being served.

Shame it was a disppointment for you. But didn't you buy it mostly for display reasons -> plastic quality wouldn't be that big thing?

That Cafeteria made me smile widely. :D

Bit more of a problem when it lacks the rigidity/dimensions to support a lot of the figures, sadly.

Well, if the Go-Bots didn't spend all day in the canteen they wouldn't be such fat bastards and the thing would take their weight.
