Help!!! Toy Id Required!!

Post by fusion »

Hi everyone!

I used to have a load of transformers before my mum give them all to a charity shop years ago! one of them was my favourite and i wanna buy it again just for the hell of it.

It was a lorry and a trailer, was not optimus prime, the trailer was black and yellow, and folded open to reveal a cannon, which you turned and it fired plastic rockets. Please Help!! this has troubled me for years due to a compulsive disorder i suffer with!

Kindest regards
Chris

thank you, but thas not it, very very similar tho! Thanks for showing interest tho, perhaps u can join me in my crusade to find this toy now! :o)

the Trailer was all yellow apart frmo the black stripes. and the cannon was round and folded up on an arm. cant really remember much about the lorry part of it as the trailer was so fun! when you turned the pack of the cannon it fired the 6 or so missiles in order, looked the the bullet holding part of a revolver. (sorry for being so vague, but who ever gets this will be my hero for all time!!)

Thanks for replying tho!!

Mmmm, children...

Best bet for a cheap Pyro is doing the donkey work of trawling through job lots and unidentified figures on ebay... while not uber-rare in the UK (I'm guessing you're Europe way to have owned the thing), he is a bit obscure, and lots of fans wouldn't be able to ID the sod, let alone people clearing out cupboards. I had one for a bit a couple of years ago, he's alright.

Yeh, let's see how cheap that one goes for, shall we? It's already five times more than I paid for one using the method mentioned above.

That's because it's the much rarer "Generation 2" Pyro. They didn't make many of those you know...

Did anyone mention it needing to be a G2 one? No. you know how I know that? I tend to read all the words in posts I'm replying to.

Actually, I was just mocking the original auctions claim that it was a G2 toy when simply looking at the packaging it comes in reveals otherwise.

Good grief- I got an apology from Cliffy! That's only got to be about the third one he's ever given. I feel all special now.
