Massachusetts tri-fecta?

Post by Scarrita »

OK, here goes my theory...

The New England Patriots won the Superbowl.

The Red Sox just won the World Series.

Can we hope and pray the John Kerry wins the election?

It is a very interesting year to be from this state. All I can do right now is hope.

Is it just me, or are 75% of the archivers who post in GD either from Massachusetts or Florida?

I mean, there are a few (like Auros) in other states, but it seems the majority are in either of those two.

Oh, and - we can only hope.

I'm from VA, same as Auros.

Oh, and apparantly the outcome of the last home game of the Washington Redskins before the election has predicted the outcome of every election since the Redskins were back in Boston (in the 30's). If they win, the President remains in office another term and if they lose so does said president.

Or something like that.

I was actually going to point that out...that and I would say that the UK still represents a large portion of the GD population.

I'm not from any of those places...I'm so alone! :glance:

Well, I meant among the US ;)

And I suppose it was just that I tended to notice people from my area or florida more, since I like both those areas...

(plus, for instance, I have no idea where "Springfield" is, where Spengs put for his location, so I just sort of thought it was in Florida. Sounds like a FL name...)

Eh, I think it was just me noticing MA people more.

JAWS vs. Chucky
This could be great: Chucky is a stowaway on some kids' boat and he tries to kill them. They jump overboard and JAWS eats them before Chucky can get 'em. Chucky swears "smile you son of a bitch" and dives into the water for one final showdown

To be honest, I think there's a "Springfield" in every state.

Either that or it's a nod to The Simpson's "Springfield".

yes, that too, but there is one in like almost every fricken state, thats most likely why the name was chosen, so you would never know where they were

i don't think they live in the u.s. at all, because they're map with crossed off states had all but two, and marge said "we can still go to *state1* and *state2*" or something to that effect

they wouldn't be going if they lived in one of those two, and they can't be living in a state they got kicked out of
