Well, considering the boxes for Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus had full length smokestacks and the original size missiles in all the pictures, I wouldn't use box art as any sort of credible source. :(

Heheheh, I guess I missed that one. ;) At least Hasbro is wising up and going with the Takara style packaging. It's weird seeing the gun and missiles in black, rather than the regular silver, though. Could be glare, but I don't think so...

Yes, it is. He's being released in the anime color scheme, and I can't wait to get him. :D

Wow! I actually want that! Thankfully they've realised no-one, but no-one, thinks that Bluestreak's original toy colour scheme was actually remotely interesting. Sadly, the name doesn't work, as there's no such thing as talking like a silver streak, and there's too much black on him. What say we boo Hasbro and demand release of a silver Silverstreak? No wait, the all-silver is about as interesting as Cyberstrike NTO...

It's "Powermaster Optimus Prime with Apex Armor," Which is a repackaged God Ginrai, which was a retooled Powermaster Optimus Prime.

Before that Roy Fokker guy got banned, I visited his website to take a look at his TF collection. He repaints his Transformers, and to be honest, I really admired his handiwork. What he did with the Constructicons was quite impressive (well, its not that hard to make THEM look better is it? they were pretty crappy to begin with), but now I quite like the idea of say, a plain mould TF that you can buy, and then perhaps paint him yourself.

I think it would be cool to buy a plain Bluestreak, then get some fancy metallic specialist paints and get incredibly anal with lots of roboty detail and whatnot. Cor, there could be 'Who'se got the best Bluestreak paintjob' competitions:)

It would also be cool if the plain one's retailed for half the price of the stadard retail TF's. More inspiration to be creative with your TF's. Mmmm, I can picture it now, chrome missiles and laser gun, metallic blue shoulder launchers, chrome alloy wheels, detailed silvery-metallic face with electric blue eyes. Ooooooh.
