I read this on a auction forr a Binaltech Lazer wave

Please Note: That this items is Discontinued and NO longer Manufactured.(Takura is overtaken by other company already) This item is made out of Diecast Metal and not like the U.S. version which is Plastic.

Is it true that Takara was baught over or is he just full of it?

Reading the company's website is usually a good starting point. They're a fairly big business -- it's not something that all of the other companies who deal with them would miss, but filter down to individual sellers.

Binaltech continues, the latest previews being the Kiss series -- basically just a rename for Binaltech Asterisk. Since Laserwave was released a year ago, it's not really surprising production runs of that figure are over.
