Laster looked into the monitor.
"It's now or never, chief!"
"Okay Laster. Here goes nothing" Star Saber responded. There hadn't been time to test the equipment on anything anywhere near his size. They had to get this underway.
Laster turned to another speaker:-
"Dashtackler, activate the time-jump gate!"
The metal ring floating in space flickered with blue energy. The mighty form of Star Saber's starship mode tore towards it, hit the middle of the ring and disappeared in a pulse of white light...
"Did he make it?" Laster asked Blacker.
"He certainly wasn't destroyed instantly. We're not likely to know how it goes, one way or another -- but if the chief got back, he'll find Ginrai and sort this mess out. Now we've got to get back to Earth, while there's still a chance we can save this!"

[Original RPG] Space, Mars Orbit, 2140
In Punch mode, Counterpunch moved into the control room. The Cybertrons had no suspicion of his true purpose. He'd been on the base a fortnight ago, one of the first to respond to Star Saber's request for troops from across the galaxy. He watched as the latter's shape faded. Around him in the room where the Autobots' scientists, Wheeljack and Perceptor, plus the Brainmasters Laster and Blacker.
"Did he make it?" Punch asked.
"We think so." Laster responded.
"Shame the same couldn't be said for you."
Punch transformed into his Counterpunch mode. Wheeljack was easy. Counterpunch's projectile cannon hit him with 500 one-inch titanium bearings, travelling at 400mph. Enough major circuits were shattered to kill the inventor. Before Wheeljack's corpse hit the ground Counterpunch had grabbed Laster, and he used his laser cannon to overpower the Brainmaster's sword, sending a pulse of energy right through Perceptor's chest. He wrenched the sword from the Cybertron's grip, and decapitated him with a back-hand. Just him and Blacker. Blacker lunged forward. Even with years less training, Blacker was probably Counterpunch's equal in sword-fighting. Counterpunch withdrew his sword from Blacker's chest. Sometimes "probably" just wasn't enough. He moved over to the console. Star Saber needed to be stopped.
