My suspicion: these are Happy-Meal style promotional toys.

i do like the fact that they turned these little things into such splendid articulated toys. i would have figured it hard engineering wise for this feat to be done honestly. the arms on a few may be un-move-able, but still it seems like they did a nifty job on the creativity department. is that handheld a Sega product? XD

Wow! That guy's cool (although still loving the camera most...)!

Not as simple as he could have been, and articulation looks grand!

Finally, I am not the only one who was thinking this. I stated the same thing in the cellphone thread. They are a little better then the old McDonalds food transformers but not to far off par of some of the recent armada and energon verisons. I could see these as great promotions!

Add on: It looks like you will be actually able to look through the alt mod like really binoculars. You can notice the holes in the eye part. That would be interesting. Makes it seem even more like a possible Happy-Meal toy though...hmm

They're a lot better than most.

I'd bother to get these...

They are waaaaay too good to be Happy Meal toys. These things appear to have more than four points of articulation and some appearance of paint and are therefore better than the last round of Beast Wars toys I got from McDonald's.

Ah, but at least that chap does have a bit of personality... Of course, the obvious answer is just not to make transforming binoculars, I suppose...

While Convertors have come up, someone sell/give me Monty Carlo before I stab you all.
