It helps when giving spoilers if you tell us what series the spoilers relate to.

And I really don't think the tags are necessary at all, given that you've told us in the subject line all bar the book in question.

And that the URL outside the spoiler tags contains the name of the series.

Given who he's with, I'd assume so.

Maybe he's evolved again, this time to canine?

A much better look for him (DH that is) than either the II or III versions of the character. Actually seems a lot closer to the What If? design.

When I was doing some research for the reviews of the trades I did a few months ago I came across a quote from the S.W.O.R.D writer along the lines of them finding it easy to bring him back near enough as was without explanation thanks to him being a time traveller. Which sounds like the right attitude to take, no need for convoluted explanations or definative chronologies, just get on with it.

Quite possibly Beast, but looks very wrong IMO, so may turn out to be some alien or other. But... is that Lockheed?

Nice touch of the traditional DH humour, though...

I'm pretty sure that is Beast. He gets more and more canine every time he gets a new artist.
In fact, I've seen him looking more beasty than that . . .

Yes. He's an Agent of SWORD.
