US release of Masterpiece Grimlock in 2010!

Animated Arcee and Cybertron Mode Ratchet in Spring 2010.

Plans for a red redeco of ROTF Rampage Hasbro-wise.

Also confirms that there are multiples of the ROTF Constructicons fiction-wise.

And a pretty dodgy attempt to reconcile the seven Primes from ROTF with the First 13 Transformers that effectively retcons "Vector Prime: In the Beginning".

I think that's about as useful as this session got so far...

"Dear Hasbro, how do you do stuff?" - "With a lot of effort!"
"Dear Hasbro, will you finally put useful stuff on your website again?" - "We are very interested in continuing these Q&A sessions."

What's most frustrating is that Hasbro repeatedly give "We are looking to do good stuff in the future" non-answers to "What are your plans for 2010", "Will you release toy X" kind of questions, send out a note to sites asking them to better avoid these questions because Hasbro will for various reasons not be able to give conclusive answers to these... and then someone asks about the next Masterpiece toy and Hasbro announce Grimlock. Sigh.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Yesyes never mind that - when are they going to confirm if there are multiple Sweeps in the animated Movie?

Oh, look. Apparently one of the Thirteen is a girl.

And the seven Primes are only part of the Thirteen.

Wang Chung!

Someone had to actually ask that? Christ. Anyone ask for confirmation that the silver Autobot with the swords in Egypt is Sideswipe or not?

Almost worth unbanning it... Almost...

Thanks OP for the links.

Answers but no answers at times. Still at least there is an attempt.

Good on them for planning to market Grimlock. That's a nicely done figure that deserves more availability than Disney crossovers.

For me, I think that Hasbrowill bin in some kind of line, apart from ROTF or Universe, and that despite their promises, it'll be somthing in the Animated Universe.

Having said that, I am pretty curious as to what the Official Answer is about Bonecrusher (I believe some stooge or other has already gone "Whatever..." about Grindor). Maybe we'll get an orange redeco called Sureshock, and it can be Sureshock in the film?

Actually, following on from this, we'd better get confirmation as to whether the silver robot in the desert is Swerve or not.

Well, the point was whether
a) The scenes were shown out of order (unlikely)
b) There are multiples of each Constructicon
c) The individual Constructicons and Devastator are separate entities, and Devastator just happens to be made up of vehicles who aren't individuals but coincidentally match the individual Constructicons' vehicle modes.

Also, more questions and answers added to the first post.

Action-Figs

TFViews has a pretty disgruntled third question. Hasbro AGAIN manage to dodge the point with their answer.

Just out of interest why dont we get to ask questions?
Who decided which sites do and dont get to ask them?
This is the only TF site Im a member of and Im not joining others just for the oppurchancity to be fobbed off by Hasbro PR types.

We originally signed up, but somehow we ended up getting left out of the loop still. And considering the hit-and-miss ratio of these answers, I'm not quite sure if that's a good or a bad thing...

Considering us, I think I can understand why. ;)

Our questions would prove too embarrassing, too hard or too silly for them to answer... :joke:

Due to empty batteries in my keyboard yesterday, I shall now clarify what I said: I think Hasbro will have a sequel to Animated as the main line in 2010.

Anybody catch that hint of HA Jazz in the future, or am I reading too much into it?

Yeah, possible.

It's a shame we're missed out, but, hey, I can glean as much amusement from these replies as I could here, but without the frustration of having actually asked questions and believed I'd get any real answer!

Those responses are great!

I once wrote to Hasbro to find out if they were going to release toys of the Animated constructicons, but got a somewhat enigmatic answer. They seem really good at that sort of thing.
