LittleRobot of TFans noticed that the first letter stands for the size class ("s" for "Scout", "d" for "Deluxe" etc.).

take your codes to Hasbro's Cybertron website, enter the code, and find out even more about the characters.
Or they could just publish the damn info to get people interested...

I was a little curious about the codes, as I haven't got any Cybertron toys yet, I typed in http://www.transformers.com in my browser, and it went to the hasbro site, where do you enter the codes? All I can see is a load of stuff about the Energon range.

Well, they have a small description of the character on the back of the package. The website will just have a more fleshed-out version.

They are currently in the process of replacing their current web team with a new one which they hope can provide them with a better web presence...

Someone at TFW 2005 reported it from the G.I. Joe Con.

OVERHAUL
In the original design stage for TF: Cybertron, Overhaul was going to be called "Trailbreaker", a popular name from the 1980's. This was to match up with his later upgrade to "Leobreaker" -- a lion on the Jungle Planet. His name was changed to Overhaul, but the Lion's name stayed the same! A lion would sound kinda funny with the name "Leohaul", right?

Duh!

Well, now that the site is up,here are some updates from my inspection:

A) D.Scorponok, Leaders and Supreme are not working yet.
B) The codes reveal artwork, show pics, some bio addons and some useless tidbits or ideas. The only interasting one was that Overhaul was ment to be Trailbraker, making Leobraker sound smart. They decided to leave it Leobreaker cause Leohaul would be stupid.

A nice idea overall. Feels like the old PC Cheats :)

Okay figured it out. the optimus code doesnt start with an L but with a 1.

so it's

18p3

Change the "l' into 1 for Megs as well. I'll try to find SScreamer and D.Scorpy too.

You do realize that Transformers are still TOYS for KIDS, who might actually enjoy this?

Besides, there's so much cool stuff hidden behind the codes, sure there might be a letdown in there or two...
