Well, err, that´s certainly interesting.

Unfortunately, I´m a complete n00b when it comes to IRC - can anyone point me at a good docu, or fill me in as how to share/get files.
In a perfect world, this would be a signature. As it stands, it's just the lack of.

Try Direct Connect, I think it's less complicated than IRC.

megaman.gotdns.com

I use that. Whenever I can anyway (two days per month :( ).

You have to have 1GB of cartoons and/or comic scans. And it's often full and it redirects you to other hubs (those might be good, too, I never check them), but just try again few minutes later if needed. And again. And once more. Till you get in there. :)

Visit this site http://www.80s-cartoons.net/ !!!!

Download the Sysreset file ON this site, not on the sysreset website. Start the program.

type in the irc.dejatoons.net window:

/join #transformers

In the #transformers channel window:

Type "!list"

You'll get a list of all servers (Fserves). The Fserves have triggers, you need to copy&paste them. You'll get another window that is an fserve you can download things when you doubleclick on the files.

Have PHUN !

BTW You should read the fserve guide on 80s-cartoons how to share your files. When you share files you'll get priviliges and can join some fserves that are restricted to non-sharing people.

What we really need is for someone to seed the files on Bittorrent...

Agreed, particularly as I'm on dial-up. Trading physical media is so much more practical. I've hooked up with some cool stuff as a result of having TF eps...

This Friday they're coming back online (atleast that's what the site says)

Looking forward to it as I'm almost done DLing Masterforce and 1\3 of the way through Victory.

I'd be game if people have any ideas as to where, and if they are serious about it.

I know that tvtorrents is pretty good, and I think users can create torrents. If enough people are interested, I could look into it. Only thing with tvtorrents is that they have a ratio. You lose 1 credit for every kb you download, you get one back for every kb you upload, and if you're a seed (you have the complete file), you get 1.5 credit for every kb uploaded. What do you people think? It would help keep away the leeches.

So, I had a HD crash, and I lost a ton of my episodes. I have beast wars/machines burned to cd and at hand, and I could get a hd out of mothballs to get the G1 episodes. The japanese stuff I had might be lost forever...

Another option would for the great tfarchive brand episodes to be forgotten for now, and we start pulling rips from digital sources. Of course, that's on FAR weaker ground in the legal sense, so I wouldn't suggest we do that.

Or people could shell out cash for the DVD's (exspensive, I know). I've never seen the eps I have as a replacement for the DVD's. The quality is just low enough to be a tad bit frustrating. ;)
