Unless they already planned to stick with Jetfire, that looks like a Universe Astrotrain coming up. Can't complain about the paint style.

Still rather happy with my original one, personally.

Astrotrain wouldn't seem to make a whole lot of sense though since it's nothing resembling a train...

Astrotrain was also a shuttle. He was a triple changer.

hey it could very well be astrotrain, we all know that with hasbro and thier lousy choice of names it most likely IS going to be astrotrain whether or not he has the "train" part or not

Erm, got to say, with Universe, how is who he looks like going to influence his name? Remember Red Prowl and Trailhide?

Not a whole lot. I would like to see him as Blast Off though. It also would be cool if the did a Decepticon repaint of Armada Prime to go with him.

I think the name astrotrain would work because if you think about it Astrotrain's primary function was to carry passengers i.e. other decepticons, through space making him an Astro-Train.

Anyway i think this looks cool i was tempted to get the jetfire mold before so i might get this if i ever see it in the UK. This is the first Universe thing i've seen that i like.

Also i think a Decepticon Repaint of Armada Prime would be cool maybe Motormaster or Scourge

Well.. I don't see how anybody missed getting a Jetfire, only because they've had his original form, then there was the Target exclusive that was the original form plus 3 bonus minicons (requiem blaster), then there was his Powerlinx counterpart, then there was the Kmart exclusive pack with Prime and 6 minicons. I can't remember if Sam's Club did a repaint exclusive of him or not, but now Universe? Yikes.. I mean.. he doesn't look that bad at all, that is, IF it will be an actual figure... But.. this looks more like someone just painted it up themselves. I can't see them making a Jetfire mold into a Decepticon figure in the Universe line. But.. Hasbro has been kind of flaky lately....

I wasn't too fond of Armada Jetfire's colorscheme originally, but this...can't argue with purple. I just pray I don't have to do any fiddly importing.

IMHO, it looks like energon tidal wave and armada jetfire had a "very happy night out" and nine months after.....
to say i dont like it would be an understatement, and i hope this is just a kitbash made by a very bored fan.....
