Peter Cullen added to Cybercon Expo, Auto Assembly also doing well...

Post by Denyer »

As mentioned by Civ over in GD and the AllSpark this morning, Peter Cullen has been added to the guestlist for Cybercon Expo (July 29th-30th, NY), and you also have the chance to meet Don Figueroa.

(Autographs for Peter Cullen will be limited, so check out the Cybcon site.)

Over in the UK, the countdown for Auto Assembly (4th June, Birmingham) has begun, pre-registration having surpassed that of previous years. Guests there include Neil Kaplan, Simon Furman and Andy Wildman, and the event is being held in support of the Acorns Trust and NPCC.

More at the Auto Assembly site.

Just to let you know, it costs $20 USD to get two signatures from Mr. Cullen and yes, I have already purchase mine. I'm thinking of the following options to get signed:

1. My Masterpiece Convoy Box (definite)
2. My Takara Reissue Convoy Box (not sure)
3. Get a piece of artwork from Mr. Figueroa and have him and Mr. Cullen sign it. (not sure)

I'm at a toss-up now for either option 2 or 3. I'm leaning towards option 3 but I'm not sure what the situation will be with Don as of right now.

Thanks, Zeeks! Great job!

I was chating to the bloke who runs Auto Assembly at the last memorabillia, apparently they've allready signed up a *Big* voice actor for 2006 (They've also got plans to try and get the whole Target:2006 team together again, try and guess why...).

Is anyone else from here going? It'd be nice to put names to faces...

I suspect that no transforce anymore and the fact the people who grew up on TF's are getting more disposable income as well as the slowly increasing fanbase are the positively contrabuting factors there :)

I suspose Birmingham is better placed for most of the country to get to as well.

We could be fantastic for the local economy. Still Bristol and Cardiff aren't to far. If I lived in Brum I'd defently move to one of those great cities.

Strangly it's the country's 2nd most populas city after London. Brun has twice the population of Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle.
Not sure how this happened?
Prehaps the government has a policy of moving the dross of the gene pool there to make everywhere else better to live ;)

Hey, if your all going to start mocking the brumies (which I'm not, I'm more Black Country...), I'm going to start on the Welsh again. ;)

I've seen videos of him and the guy who did Tracks on those "voice panels" (most probably) from BotCon.
