Strange things that amuse you...?

As in, things that amuse you despite the fact that they aren't really that amusing...

The word "Ambulance" amuses me right now. I don't get the entymology (terminology? I'm getting my ologies mixed up, help me out here...), I'll admit... it's root word is ambulant (correct?), which makes sense in that it moves... but I don't know how it came to be used as a word for a mobile medical unit...

And the fact that the word is spelt backwards on the front of some ambulances so that you can read it in your rearview mirror amuses me... the sirens and lights apparently isn't enough of a hint for some people, I take it?

It means it's always visible if there's one in your rear-view mirror, at least—and most (over here, anyway) don't drive with the flashy stuff if they can avoid it, because it makes some people freeze rather than get out of the way.

The penguin from Fight Club amuses me endlessly...

I have ADHD.. so there's a lot of things that amuse me.

Clothes pins sometimes.. sometimes nail clippers.. bouncy balls..

I keep several Transformers on my computer desk.. fo rmy own saftey.

Though, the "Energon Blaster" I picked up a Wal-Mart is fun..
