Okay, okay, okay... I can just about buy that the "camoflague paint" makes the Autobots look like their Stunticon counterparts, what with them all being bipedal and what have you... and I can sort-of buy the alt modes being identical, as the animators always made all the cars look like pieces of crap anyway [c'mon, how many times did Tracks look like a Stingray?], but how in the name of Mary off Suicide Girls do their transformation sequences physically change?

Of course it is! The 'Bots kept the real Stunticons inside subspace pockets, and whenever they needed to transform, they simply pulled the somewhat-miffed Stunticons to transform, then the 'Bots hid behind them while they transform!
