How's Your June?

Post by Sades »

All's quiet on the Canadian front. Busy running from bunker to bunker, hiding Hound from the feds and fighting aliens with mah lazzzzzer pistol. And right now cringing at Hound's falsetto singing... even though I ASKED HIM TO TURN IT DOWN SO WE DON'TGETNOISECOMPLAINTS (puttemup!)

The rest of the world blow up yet?

Yes work... and so far it was (so far) a very stupid decision I made in December.

China is great, but the work sux 10 times as much than back home.

Strange how life changes fast at times:
3 months ago we were unmarried, double income, no kids.
Today I am married to an unemployed but pregnant woman and am homeless (no more address in Germany).

And yourself?

Everyone's getting married. Even the gays. Bloody bandwagon jumpers.

My June started off badly when my imediate manager went on holiday and his counterparts who filled in had all sorts of great ideas about how the department should be run that of course, were deeply stupid and more difficult.

Still, I'm on holiday next week!

My june is alright, finnished my second year of uni so I'm just trying to find a job for the summer. Other than that it's been kinda slow apart from a few ukulele gigs.

June's been rockin' good. We have several June birthdays in the family, Fathers' Day was great, and today's my 13th anniversary. My wife's too, go figure. We went camping last week, caught lots of fish that I didn't have to clean, sneaked in a couple mini-trips to other parts of the state... Life's good!

Life is terrible here. Work load is twice as much and I get weekly beatings from the hq in Germany as business is not going too good.
If I do not die of heart attack, at least I will have grey hair (if any) left in 4 years when I go back.

June is not good. But May was also bad... As was April and march, when the beatings began parallel to moving to china. February was bad as I lay in hospital for 2 weeks with lungs infection after three weeks of business trip to china in January...

To sum it up, June is loke all 2012, a bad year.

2011 was good

Not sure what happened to June, or most of the rest of the year so far... although on the plus side, the work (job title has 'auditor' in it but 'data wrangler & gofer' might be more accurate) is interesting a fair bit of the time.

Congrats and commiserations to one and all.

Pneumonia at the end of May. After 10 days antibiotic and after re-check, still there. Another 10 days of antibiotic and finally finish them. Next week is going to followup again so we will see.

My June has been temporary joy and following tragedy, contented mellow happy, unbelievable stress and work, work, work. Life's not being very easy, but it certainly hasn't been boring. Full steam ahead, etc etc.

I'm glad there's been no earth-shattering kabooms, for the most part. Addl, I sincerely hope the rest of the year is good to you.

I have a new phone that has an option to let me handwrite things on the screen! Like this! It's so awesome i'm going to ignore the fact that with my writing it takes 5 times as long as typing. It really doesn't like my v's.

Last weekend I crossed two things off my "bucket list", then yesterday I found a cavitiy. Despite the general crapfest that the month was, I'm claiming it as a win on account of the bucket list thing.
