Next Alternators wave due out soon! UPDATE 05/22/04: Silverstreak is definitely OUT!

As originally reported by TFCollectors.com:

The next wave of Alternators is (finally!) going to be released within the next two weeks.

1x Dodge (Sideswipe)
1x Jeep Wrangler (Autobot Hound)
2x Subaru (previously unreleased)

The "previously unreleased" Subaru could either be Silverstreak or "#7" Smokescreen (or both?). The latter was not due to be released before Christmas of 2004, though.

So enjoy the new toys, as we Binaltech buyers already do.

Isn't Sideswipe already out and the new one Dead End? Or is this for countries outside America?

I've already seen Smokescreen and Sideswipe in my local TRU, so I know they are already out. Alternator Hound should be awesome, just like BT Hound. Silverstreak is also good, I just hope the alternators version doesn't have a stiff left foot like my BT Silverstreak did. Damn, that was a pain to get out.

all i have found so far is Smokescreen and Side Swipe... of course Side Swipe is getting Hard to find... Smokescreen is everywhere... no sign of hound yet... Its a must buy...

To my knowledge, US Dead End and Tracks are scheduled for an August release. About the new Side Swipe: Hmm, I guess it's a restock?

I said it before, and I'll say it again: Streak is cool. Better than Smokescreen, actually, and HasTak have put a lot of effort into making him anything but "just a repaint". Judging by the pics of Dead End I've seen so far, I have huge faith in the inevitable Swindle remold of Hound being executed rather well too.

LoserBroadside from 2005Boards just reported buying a Silverstreak at Wal-Mart in Avon CT. Still no word about Hound, though...

As Hasbro had reported in their May 20th news article, the new figures are scheduled for release for summer and fall of this year. One can only presume that this means Silverstreak and Hound will be the Summer releases. Tracks, Dead End, and possibly Meister should be scheduled as the Fall releases. In Iowa I have yet to see a Silverstreak OR a Hound come out. I'm really anxious to get a Hound or two. Silverstreak may be just a bit different from Smokescreen, and in some peoples' minds to be better than Smokescreen, but I'm not too worked up about him.
