Interesting...
Ive got the Sony/Maverik release , which seems pretty proper, but i walked into Blockbusters the other day........
And saw a pal TF : Movie (thsat was what it was called), with the basic more than meets the eye description (battle between robots, energy, crash on earth blah blah), with what i think was more than meets the eye art (same as the ORIGINAL sticker book).........
why was this released?? has anyone seen it, any features??

"Huh, 'me and what army'! I'll show HIM what army."
If it isn't the widescreen version, they needn't bother. Since this is the 20th anniversary, though, someone might be prepared to fork out the sum the owner is asking for it, I suppose...
Yeah, I have the £6 Prism one now. Anyone want a Maverick coaster? *cough*
(It doesn't have any irritating 'features' on it, which recommends it in my book... I like think it was released because Maverick had their shot and blew it. Sure, the first UK one had remastered audio, but all that meant in practise was that the music was muted into the background.)
