Air Razor Question

So I was watching Beast Wars with my girlfriend the other night and she saw Air Razor for the first time. Being a sucker for 20 mintue toy commercials, she immediately wanted the toy. So, me being a diligent boyfriend, headed over to EBay to see what I could find. It seems that there are only Transmetal Air Razors there. Was there an original (non TM) Air Razor? Or was the TM one the only one made?

Do herself a favour and buy Tigatron, Airazor and Tigerhawk, then watch the rest of the series. I'm sure your gf will like it.

there is:
original basic Airazor
original mold recolor with videocassette (store exclusive in the US, she's mainly darker in color)
TM Airazor
Fox Kids TM Airazor
BW Metals Airazor
Armada TM remold Airazor

and you only want the first one, as that is the show version

(which automatically explains why its harder to find)

you can certainly find one, just be a little patient

But the recolour looks better (even if mine is missing the shoulder pads

) and it's almost as show accurate as the original version.

Complete Airazor can be surprisingly expensive. I'd recommned checking Beast Wars lots on Ebay, just in case.

I think the problem might be that he spelled the name he entered into the search field "Air Razor", and since eBay's search isn't case-sensitive, he didn't get any results for "Airazor", which is the toy's official name.

But for buyer it's sometimes a good thing. A big part of my BW collection came from one "Beastwars lot" auction, so cheap I was almost ashamed of it.
