Transformers #0 "Infiltration" - Comic Book Reminder

Post by Taylor »

Hey gang,

Just wanted to drop a quick reminder to all that today is the day to remind your retailers to pre-order your copies of Transformers #0 "Infiltration". Your local comic book shops are now placing their orders for the October titles and that includes Transformers #0 "Infiltration" written by Simon Furman with art by E.J. Su. The 24-page introductory issue is priced at only $0.99 - and with four variant covers it's expected not to last long on store shelves. Don't miss out!

Transformers #0 "Infiltration" can be found on page 299 of the August issue of Previews (V15 #8) - Diamond Code: AUG05 2972
Peace...

Would you trust a comic book editor that misspells the name of their new series and propable upcoming flagship? ;)

Thanks. Just the info I needed. Have you forced Su to "fix" that decepticon cover and draw a smirking smile on Starscream's face? If yes, I'll order that as well. If not, no sale.

My bad. Fixed.

E.J. did do some adjustments on both covers.
Peace...

Exclusive Botcon Cover for IDW Infiltration

From the looks of things on TF message boards, most fans are pleased with this cover.

I must be one of peculiar tastes though, because I think this cover sucks and has too much of a "sticker book" feel to it.

What's important to me though is the quality of the titles. So I would not judge IDW's work based on what we've seen so far.

[Denyer] Merged this, as we seem to have a fair few #0 threads and it's a bit more conducive to discussion to not spread 'em thin. [/Denyer]

Is it me, or does anyone else see a female seeker on the side of Optimus Primes right leg? All in all everything looks pretty neat. A lot of updates and modernization. I like where this is heading. But I do agree with the Commander that it does have a sticker book feel.

Yeah, 3 out of 4 if you ask me. I'm not the kind of person who'd collect them all anyway.

I'm really not sure if I can be arsed to buy anything, y'know? I mean, I'd have to get out of bed and everything, and I could get 4 Lego hats for 99c. Plus it'll be three quid over here because I'd be getting it from Forbidden Planet and they're wankers. I'm personally hoping the multiple covers are a launch gimmick, also serving to offset the 99c price, and there won't be multiple covers for the rest of the series.

Actually, any solid word on whether we're getting this in the UK?

Or deal with the cretins at Forbidden Planet. Thank the wee man for small mercies!

Yeah, is not a very nice cover...

At least you have a lot of Prime's heads, a Decepticon bat-mobile, the seeker female, the little Meggy and his friend, the little Op... is ugly but amusing! ;)

Yup, I'd also vouch for Steve's quick and friendly service. Nice to see he hasn't been put off by the DW mess...
