Random New Transformers

Post by Ravage »

Look Here

Give credit to Tformers and Action Toy House.

Some of the new Cybertron stuff looks nifty, like the military feel of some of the figures. Oh yay Kup and Wheelie my life is complete!

But I really do dig the new Cybertron guys.
The bunnies, they give me knowledge it is neat.

The only necessity for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

About time we get a picture of Prowl transformed properly. In direct contrast to a comment Denyer made a few days ago, I think this figure may be moving the line forward. Note the ball joints at the elbows, we may be getting an Alternator that can move his forearms laterally. :D

Master question:

Anyone remember this unknown proto we saw weeks ago?

Who's that? The second Hasbro-only mold, mayhaps?

Nice. If they're repainted Starscreams, that's cool.

:up:Those Exillion and First Aid upgrades look rad. Kind of look like the stuff Jae Lee did for the Transformers J.I.Joe WWII thing. Hope they don't ruin those great molds with some korny brighty 3-year old paint job.

Erm, can't Grimlock do this? Not that it isn't welcome to see developments rolling into subsequent designs, of course...

That photo is better than we've previously seen, anyway. Still looks more like Streetwise than Prowl, but I suppose there've already been a glut of uses of the Smokescreen / Jazz design.

Sweet! :D

Not sure why they're packing Kup and Wheelie together. Possibly because no one would buy wheelie? Eh, I've got TM Kup anyway . . .

I don't actively dislike the Kup mould, but it's also edging into that later period of toys that were unnecessarily large and not particularly detailed with it. Wheelie... is crap. And I don't just mean that as a character—the toy is abysmal.

Are those different colours on Kup? ie, The shade of blue used? Looks better.

^ Why do people consistently mistransform the guy?

And why couldn't Takara throw in the Targetmaster partner rather than Wheelie?

Well, Denyer, if they released the TM Kup now, there wouldn't be incentive to release the original version. They'll probably release the TM version later. Yeah, the Wheelie mold is ****. They must've been like, "Hey, this mold sucks, and no kid'll buy it no matter how friggin' cool the character is. Lets make him a total asshole, and then have a wild orgy!!!!" True story, I swear.

GC-19 Excigazer, an upgrade of Exillion.
GC-20 Back Guild, an upgrade of Backpack.
GC-21 Fast Gunner, an upgrade of First Aid.

More than an upgrade, they look like a militaristic remold, unrelatedto their previously released counterpart

GC-22 Sonic Bomber, an upgrade of Dreadrock.

Could combine with Optimus, but not with the combined OP & Liger Jack, or i'm wrong?

GD-13 Rumble.

LooK like one of the megazord of the Power Ranger's Lightspeed Rescue series (the Omega Megazord)

GD-14 Master Galvatron, repaint of Master Megatron.

The Emperor of Destruction want a remold, not only a new paint job :)

I don't Know if it was released in a toy version, but, despite everything, they look very similar - except that nothing is certain about the trasformation - i hope that Rumble will receive something more refined
