Actually, I probably wouldn't expect a transformer, at all, if I were buying a car. :p

Heh, completists will be suicidal. Especially as half the people buying the car will probably chuck the toy in a glove compartment and forget about it...

True... Certainly haven't reveived one before. And, to be fair, it wouldn't influence my decision... But then, I only buy second (or fourth...) hand... (and always will, actually).

But, probably the folks selling cars can afford a new mold? I dunno...

I'm sure they'll all end up on thief-bay for a 'fair' price, lol!

Aye. I really hope he gets repainted and released in another venue. He'd fit nicely in the upcoming TFU line.

I was reading about this on another forum that shall rename nameless, and was pretty baffled by how dense people can be.

Apparently, if there is already a red car deluxe (like Swindle), then the new red car deluxe is obviously a remolded version, but just with every part changed and a new transformation!

Either that, or it's an Alternator because it's a real car, even though it's the same size as a movie deluxe, which are also real cars.

Oh my my.

TBH, when I first saw it, the car mode looked a lot like Swindle's, to me, but one look at the robot mode, and it was very clear that it was a new figure.

i like where that is going, but if that is a Chevy Aveo. yuck. Poor Swerve must be crying on the inside I.C. *laughs*. Anyway, good to see at least they throw in a "free" toy as part of the deal.... Wish Honda had thought of this first though (even if they weren't mentioned in the movie), I would love to see different types of molds for a civic myself, other than the Alternator Rumble to be honest. I am always curious how a different type of character would look. For Example, Roadbots series that is on BBTS, and how they can take a Ford GT40, etc. and make different designs for characters.

According to the printed instructions, Swerve is a straight up repaint of an upcoming Transformers: Universe/Classics 2.0 figure.

That, of course, begs the question on just how soon Universe is coming really.

Oh, now, that is exciting stuff!

Hopefully they hold off for a few months though... my bank account, nor my health (via fiancee) could not stand up to more TFs being purchased with a wedding to pay for!

But, that's just me being selfish...

;)

Am looking forward to Galvatron!

I wonder if this is what Classics 2.0 is going too look like?
(since it's TF:Universe, it's deluxe size, it's realistic car, etc.)
