Query...

Post by Lockpick »

Are we allowed to post ads for other bboards/RPgs/Chats on the board? And if so, which section?

You can suggest them in the online resources section, but first check they haven't been included... but they must be TF-related, and you can't just use the area to advertise them in... that said, if it comes up in general conversation on the rest of the board [e.g. someone says "Where can I find a different TF RPG?"] you can say...

Well, seeing as you didn't ask a question with a yes/no answer, it's neither. Just read all the words in the post and it should make sense. Intelligence permitting :p

Actually there was a yes/no question:

ARe we allowed to post ads for other RPGs/Boards here?

ARe we allowed to post ads for other RPGs/Boards here?

Is a yes/no question. The second part though, wasn't.

If YES, where might they be posted?

Is not a yes/no question.

Simple, yes?

Any experts care to answer the question?

Okay, goal-post head, the answer was clearly yes, but clearly ran into a number of variables. You'd better look for that expert who can break it down into two syllable words for you, hadn't you, because it's the last time I bother trying to help out a pathetic twat like you. Get cancer.

What my associate is pointing out is that it depends on context.

No, you aren't allowed to advertise other boards, unless in response to a question which the location provides an answer to.

However, established RPGs (and also boards and sites which are for regional gathering and clubs) can be suggested for inclusion in the Online TF Resources listings, which you can find in that forum.

Thus, people can obtain information without being spammed.

THank you Stuart. :>

And Quicksilver, I want an apology for being called goal-post head. Please don't insult me in the future either.

Thing is, I didn't answer any more comprehensively than Cliffjumper, I just meditate more.

Ah, I'm so glad I moderate other forums...

Actually you clarified it beautifully Stuart. My mind tends to automatically block out any phrases or words with an extremely low maturity level. I think this thread's usefulness is done with now.

Again, thanks Stuart *hops off the board, her missino complete.*
