Takara Classics update: promo booklet and new stock photos/ new pic of Megatron out of package

Fantofan have posted images of a promotional booklet/comic for the Takara Classics line as well as new stock images that show close up details of the differences between these and the US releases. In a nutshell it is as follows...
C-01 Convoy: shown front grill and bumper to be chrome.
C-02 Bumble: chrome parts for air-intake and wing parts.
C-03 Grimlock: Chrome body on some parts in Dino mode
C-04 Rijie: Clear windscreen, Chrome front and rear wings
D-01 Megatron: Chrome chest
D-02 Starscream: Clear canopy, chrome parts on weapons

The Megs Re-Color is cool, the Starscream is cool and the Chrome Grille for OP is cool, the rest seem less than the Hasbro Editions.

I pretty much agree on all fronts with your statement. The only one I'll be buying will most likely be Starscream though, due to budget constraints. Actually I already pre-ordered the figure.. :sick:

Nice out of package pic. The new Megs is such an improvement over the purple and neon green Hasbro version it's not even funny.

Aye. Very nice colors, but I like my "horribly garish in the name of US toy safety laws" Megatron. I really need to figure out where he is in the garage (I moved recently, and I'm nowhere near unpacked.

It's kinda shame that all those nifty little references on Mirage got erased, but the Japanese would probably be less inclined to get the jokes anyway.

Loving the Megatron though, glad to see they gave him red eyes too - and is it just me, or did they stick electronics into the arm cannon?
