What's your favourite film soundtrack?
So many quality soundtracks to choose from:
-Star Wars,
-Indiana Jones,
-Tron,
-Superman,
-back to the future,
-MAsters of the Universe,
-Waterowrld,
-Gladiator.
The best soundtracks are those that can be listened and stand alone from their source film. I'd recommend Hans Zimmer, John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith seems to deliver the goods each time.

-Okay, the bomb's dropped. Life goes on. No amount of sulking or worrying changes that. We've got our own lives to live. In that regard, in five minutes time, I am using the autopilot on the Midnight Runner and taking it down the pub. If I go on my own, I go on my own.
-Well. Wait up, you horrible English git. While I'm around, you don't have to go anywhere on your own.
And, one by one, the others follow.
And, one by one, they begin to smile.

Besides John Williams and the Star Wars Soundtracks, I really like the score for the basketball movie "Hoosiers" which was composed by Jerry Goldsmith and was nominated for an Oscar.
Unfortunately it's out of print and the samples I've been hearing from WinMX sounds very 80s synth... not quite matching the movie.

Anyways the best ever soundtrack = Pink Floyd:The Dark side of the moon.
Actually, and most strangely, an alternative score to 'The Wizard of Oz'. Don't believe me? Play each track over a singing number that occurs in 'The Wizard of Oz' and it matches second for second.
Strange how somebody found that one out!
Superman:The movie (John Williams most perfect score)
The Empire strikes back
Trainspotting
Lord of the rings:fellowship of the ring.
Daredevil
Batman
Armadaus
Transformers:The movie
Saturday Night Fever-Beegees
Generally there are sections of scores I love but the abvove represent the complete flawless ones I love all the way through.
And I'm waiting for Denyer's josie and the pussycats entrance. Now hes got me to watch the film

I thought it was if you just leave it running, not play it over singing numbers.
The whole "leave running" thing doesn't hold up to scrutiny anyway, as the run-times are different?
Reservoir Dogs
Blues Brothers

Might be "leave running" I've never done it myself and I read it ages ago, I did check soem 'online' evidence which compared it enough to convinve me.Might just be the part where she is in Oz or something-must find that out. However 'Dark Side' does have a lot of 'quiet' moments to it which might fit in. And Pal and Scart running times differ as Pal runs faster etc, the same cut of a film can have several minutes difference between Cinema, Video and TV and from over the ocean.
I'm sure I mentioned several times that the film itself is pretty much a fetid pile of dingoes kidneys...Originally posted by Jetfire 2.1
