Does anyone here ever read regular blogs? If so, which ones??

I've been searching for a while now, looking for a decent comics blog, does anyone have any they can recommend? The problem I've found is that most comic blogs I have found are usually full of reviews, previews or news about comics, whereas I'm looking for a real personal blog... Thoughts, speculation, analysis, interesting articles and stuff like that.

An example is a blog entry I read in which the writer does his best to work out the possible ages of the Batman family characters (Bruce, Dick, Tim and Jason) by working backwards from the knowledge of how old Damian is and what kind of time he was conceived.

Anyone have recommendations??

Scans Daily has been responsible for me buying more comics than anything else. Having people post small annotated samples of cool stuff and discuss it is a rather effective mechanism for weeding out crap. Or just laughing at it.

I love the Wordpress community. I just started up a new site for fun stuff that I like (like Transformers, video games, etc). Blogging is a lot of fun, and reading other's blogs can be fun. Most of the blogs I check out are about gaming or current events, or finance. Sorry, I don't know any comic book ones, but I'm going to check out the ones Denyer posted.
