As a Starscream completest that hopes to one day have every toy of the character I must say in all honesty that this is the ugliest Screamer figure I have ever seen, and the only way I would ever buy it is if it were dirt cheap or the last figure I needed to complete my set.
To be perfectly honest the afterglow of the movie designs are really starting to fade for me, I pretty much feel that the movie line Starscream toy is the worst version the character has ever had. I'd rather have the Machine Wars brick to be honest.

I agree that the best version was the original version. The G1 repaint did not work well in retrospect. I don't mind the mold so much, and I love the actual movie design of Starscream, but this mold is so far from the actual movie design. I have come to loath the chunky look of the under carriage on the jet mode and the hugely out of place arms/guns under the wings. It just doesn't scream Starscream to me, no pun intended. Still...I have the original and the G1 repaint, so Hasbro did their job I suppose.
