I wonder what the point of Starscream is. Most of the other "premium" repaints are of the now-hard-to-find toys, but Starscream is everwhere.

One of the worst repaints ever. Who really wants their transformers colored teal blue at random places on the mold? That Barricade is hideous.

Starscream looks really good in those colors. I have the original and Thundercracker though. So I'll pass. I also don't have any targets around here (they're building one though).

Starscream is nice, but the random blue the rest as especially on Barricade and Brawl is horrendous. I wouldn't buy those even if I desperately wanted a barricade or a brawl and this was the only choice. Yuck!

Honestly, all these repaint dont make any sense at all.

If hasbro or whoever where going to do anything, they should have.....................

1. Made us a voyager or leader class Bonecrusher

2. Made us a Ultra or Ultimate class Blackout.(which ever one is the big one, the size the big Starscream was in cybertron)

3. And honestly put some of those figures out with those paint jobs, well the premium paint jobs at least.

Cuz all this repaint stuff needs to stop.

On that note, how come there were no Ultra class figures in the Movie lines? I noticed that the other day and was suprised. That size figure is in every other line and will be back for Animated (I think) and the Universe line. Anyone know?

Lackluster sales of the Ultra Class price point during Cybertron and maybe even earlier.

Well, really, what did they expect with Super Ginormous Cyb Starscream? He had about all of the articulation of the little version of him and a few more accessories. I wonder, how well did Primus and Unicron sell?

Thanks, Zeeks! Great job! :up:

Ultra = $30 price point, Supreme = $50 price point.

The naming system has no rhyme or reason to it, I know.

Goddammit. So, who would be an Ultra-sized Transformer then? Cyb Metroplex?

Scourge and Wing Saber I think. Jetfire maybe (I don't remember).
By price, the classes are something like this. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
Scouts = $7
Deluxe = $10
Voyager = $20
Ultra = $30
Leader = $40
Supreme = $50

Leaders are $40, Ultras are $30 (except at walmart, where they're $27).

That's right. It's been a while since I bought one not on clearance. Updated the previous post for retro-accuracy. :)

Yeah, the pricing system is pretty simple itself by using ten dollar tiers. It's just the names that make no sense. And it used to be worse.
