Well, seeing as how the little bio for Reverse Convoy hints that he's not really Convoy, and he has a Megatron head and G1 Megatron was a shadowy silloutte in the Robot Masters, how would you put it?, heredity tree? (That's not really good, but some Robotmasters pamphlet or another had a tree showing connections between characters.) I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that's really G1 Megatron.

Most likely. The other version of G2 tank Megatron would be too big for a Robotmaster. Looks like they remolded the cannon so that it doen't need the air bellows gimmick. I wonder if they thought to add the clips needed to keep his chest attached to his waist? The annoying lack of those clips was the only real drawback to the original toy.

Neither is there either of the Laser Cycle recolors or the other two Cyberjets. The tree was made up quite some time ago which means they've been planning Reverse Convoy for a while now.

Well, given their track record for the principal characters of the line, could it be a new mold entirely?
Maybe this isn't the right place for this but...could someone explain this tree to me? (I can't speak/read Japanese) What is the premise behind Robot Masters? Is it Transformers? What's the story? What's with this tree?

Robotmasters is a line that takes an old Takara formula and resuses it, with varying degrees of success. The formula is simple. Take a couple brand new molds, toss in a pile of redecos and call it a line.

Liveconvoy looks very cool...but unless that's some sort of funky forced perspecitve in that one picture...it looks really small, too. Hopefully not, though...because the larger robot picture looks to be too detailed for something that fits in one's hand.
