Well, do you think that anybody over 17 would accept a job that pays less that 20,000 dollars a year to manage a restaurant? :rolleyes:

I think what he's getting at are the labor laws that prevent a person under the age of 18 from working past 10 pm. They were very careful about getting us out of that damned theatre by then. As a manager, one would assume that he has to stay long hours.

I was 16 and worked at a theatre acting and was there until midnight some days....

Most place won't hire anyone under 16 that I know of. But I've never heard the labour laws in Canada say they can't work late at night - ah well. Perhaps I was an abused child worker.....

But a 17 year old manager in charge at night?!? That's asking to get robbed....

I'm not sure how acting works. I know that as a concessionist at a movie theatre, we were required to be out by ten, and they'd spaz if we weren't, even if it was their fault.
