I think that Takomy are now giving the little anime chicks transforming toy cars of their own.

First there were Transformers. Then there were Transformers with small anime chick accessories. Now there are anime chicks with small Transformer accessories. It's like evolution, but without the getting better part.

Only, it ain't. Sort of. Well... Why change MP-03 even more? Getting to the point where even this Seeker freaker is having doubts about investing that kind of dosh. Just wish they'd stop fiddling!

Even more than what?

There's no new info in those images that wasn't already known. The only thing I can think you're reacting to is that he's got two interchangeable faces... which is hardly comparable to him being a quite gorgeous shade of teal on the blasphemeter. And hardly enough to warrant the question "who is it?"

Or are we generally at the point as a fandom where an articulated face is reason to complain?

It also wasn't articulated in the show. Da-dum.

I nearly asked what the problem with the face was, but stopped thinking I'd missed something obvious... tuns out the face has something wrong with a lot of Transformers stuff - it attracts comment from Transformers fans, which is pretty ugly.

To be honest, I'm more concerned as to how I spelt "genuinely" so badly than anything else right now.

Though it has just occured to me how awesome it is that Screamer's new colour scheme is a blatant tribute to his Pretender shell...

I should have known so ever since TFormers ran a story about the Japanese Newtype magazine (the story EXPLICITLY said "a recent article in Japanese Newtype magazine") revealing the first "overseas" names for Galaxy Force toys (with an added explanation that "overseas" meant "not from Japan"), and someone at TFW2005 asked whether that meant that "fully packaged toys were found in, say, Hong Kong, with 'New Type' meaning that they're in Cybertron packaging instead of Galaxy Force", but still was wondering what "the overseas = not from Japan" was supposed to mean...
