Joy! More toys for me to eagerly await but never see in stores...

When you say Japanese releases, do you mean the versions the Japanese already have and are being released here or do you mean the pictured figure pack is being released in Japan?

The versions of the Japanese toys being released here. Hasbro has said that they had planned to release the Super Link versions of Cyclonus (Sandstorm) and Demolishor (Ironhide) some time ago, while the Powerlinx Prime vs. Megatron two pack was a recent find.

I gotta tell ya, I'm really looking foward to getting my hands on those three toys, and not just because they're exclusives. Let's just hope they don't become Toy's R' Us exclusive or other such bulls*it...

I'd worry more about actually getting them in stores when you already have Scorponoks and regular Megatrons sitting around and rows of virtually untouched Universe figures.

Christ I'm bitter about this...

Hell, you're telling me. I checked stores recently, and most of them didn't have the new stuff yet. Yeah, some places had the two Mini-Con packs, but not in stores that you'd usually visit.

And I have yet to see an Energon Megs ANYWHERE in Canada!

Good to see we're getting not only the Superlink Cyclonus and Demolishor, but the Powerlinx Prime and smaller Galvatron as well.
I'm surprised Prowl and Starscream ended up in an Energon box, though I guess that's because they're painted to resemble their Energon namesakes.

Though we can't fully see either tusk, I don't see any red on what is visible. I hope Hasbro didn't ditch the bloody tusks.

Absolutely beautiful...but wouldn't "Nemesis Primal" have been a more applicable name?

I really have to agree with Auros here.

Hasbro really needs to get their distrubution and numbers for release with these lines fixed up bad.

I have never seen this many shelf warmers in any line heck even Beast Machines actually sold.

Personally, I am not too worried about most of those toys as I am really getting tired of the sheer number of repaints that are being released. Nemesis Prime and maybe the Prime VS Megs set are the only two I am intersted in. The rest can well warm shelves. Which I think is the problem here.
The bunnies, they give me knowledge it is neat.

The toy's a beast, it'd make more sense for it to be a Primal than a Prime. But that's a minor quibble, and I can understand why Hasbro didn't bother.

Well Nemesis Prime I like a lot.. probably the only Universe thing I might pick up.

The Energon stuff... its all good apart from the prowl Scream pack.

I just hope we get em over here at some time in the not so distant future.

Speaking of King Atlas and Crystal Widow. I have had the hardest time finding those 2. I can only seem to find them in certain areas. Has anyone else had this problem? I know, this is off topic, but please don't hurt me too bad.

From what I remember:-

Reptilion - Yes (BW)
King Atlas - Yes (Zone I think)
Oil Slick - Yes (UK G1 comic - vehicle that came with Tripticon had this name)
Crystal Widow - Dont think so.

I was going to get the superlink repaints of Demolishor & Cyclonus but I think I'll wait for these & maybe Nemesis Prime.

Why do repaints of Red Alert & Starscream from Armada & bring them out in energon as Prowl & Starscream when these character names are already in use ? I think these will more likely be for the Universe line & boxe either has misprints or have been photoshoped.

The Prime & Megatron I may be interested in as I cant be bothered to get the Superlink Standard Prime/Kicker 2 pack as I already have Kicker and would like a Prime to combine with Rodimus.

King Atlas can be found on Ebay. Zainojanz (Ebay store - Toys Reside Here) has a few listed.

Actually, Universe Reptilion is the only TF with that name. Also, the Zone character you're thinking of is Dai Atlas.

The Prowl and Starscream toys in this versus pack are meant to be the same characters as the Prowl and Starscream already released in Energon, that's why they have the same colors.

Ah Right
It was Dai Atlas, not King Atlas in Zone. (Sorry)
What was the name of the figure recoloured for Reptillion ? I remember seeing it in beast wars. Was it TM Iguanas ?

The Oil Slick name was used in the UK G1 comics though. It was the name given to the purple car that came with Tripticon

Still dont see the point of Recolouring Armada Red Alert & Starscream for Energon though.

Yep. TM2, to be exact.
