You might have to get un-lazy, m'friend...they don't tend to do that; I remember asking back in November if I could do that, and they refused. Course, keeping this name has been good, it's unique, which fits me perfect!

Redstreak, there's a significant difference between the two situations... Back in November, we had board software that doesn't allow name changes in any way, it was simply not possible; all one could do, was re-register. vBulletin however *does* have the name change option built in their software... It's more a question of whether the admins even want to begin allowing name changes, afraid of being overwhelmed by dozens of more requests if they allow it for one person.
Well I tried registering the name Slugslinger And Caliburst, but it wouldn't fit into the box all I got was Slugslinger And, and it appears someone has already registerd the name Slugslinger
I do think Houbatron has a good point, me mod buds. It sets a dangerous precedent for a non-mod to get his name changed; next thing you'd know you guys(esp. Warp) would be beseiged by requests.
oooh, no chance of changing mine to "Quicksilver" is there? I'll be good. well, fairly. Obviously Pietro would give me an excuse to be a sarcy, arrogant so-and-so and claim I'm being in character, like being Cliffjumper covers for my psychopathic tendancies...
