Ohhhh, Classics Packaging is lovely isn't it? He does look a little odd somehow though.

He probably looks better in person, much the more believable Japanese low-profile colours. And I still that they went too crazy with black airbrushing, but he'll be adorning my edit suite at work moments after he comes out.

AND he's cheap enough to disect and repaint for that perfect half-breed low-profile / anime paint job that my little nerdling heart desires.

That is great packaging! The color scheme is nostalgic to my heart. I know that the realistic scheme from the MP-03 is better, but I would prefer to pick up the animated colors. Too bad this is a walmart exclusive, but what oh well.

Hopefully this line continues on good in Japand and here. After Skywarp I hope they do a new mould of something before doing a few more repaints.

Just for clarification's sake, aside from the colors, the differences between this and the Takara version are better joints and a bit more diecast? Or did I hear incorrectly and that's nothing more than rumor and hearsay?

This thing is pretty neat! The box is kinda triangular though isn't it? A bit weird looking... good to see the Classics packaging still being used

Is this going to be a local release like the Classics Masterpiece Prime? I never bought myself one (as I had the Masterpiece Convoy would looked better - better paint job) but I have been considering buying one and keeping him in the packaging... for display purposes you know?

Here's to hoping (though I recognize the near-futility of such a hope) that we see the same treatment for a legal MP Megatron.

Wow I like that way more then the other version. It really sucks that they will never to MP megatron. Hasbro should do and MP G2 megatron if they can't realese a g1 version.

Well, it still COULD come out in the next two days...

But Hasbro's been having issues, largely due a customs crunch, China's obsession with lead paint, and a labor shortage in shipping.

If you would spend less time lamenting your geographic location and more time making buddy-buddy with Americans near Walmarts (ANW), you would have more time playing with your Starscreams.

Hi. New. who cares...

Anyways, what's with the two head sculpts on the side of the box? Are the interchangeable or are they in the mold of Starscream himself?
