Hey guys, Ugo.com is having a heroes vs villans showdown and for this round Optimus Prime is up against Spider-man, and not doing great.

Metaphor for puberty, the eternal teenager and wet dreams. With villains mostly derivative of the lead character (animals, direct likenesses, halloween motif.) Bleh.

Megatron is going against Zod (Superman) as well, so far Megatron is winning.

So, some of these matchups seem a bit slanted. Sam vs Samus? I had to vote for the hobbit, just for humor's sake.

I was curious to see how people thought the Supes vs Wolverine would go (refused to vote for either of them). Apparently, people think that Wolverine could actually take Superman (and the vote is 51/49 in favor of superman. Someone's a bit overrated. In fact, having the most overrated character in the two biggest comic companies is a good way to fix a tournament.

BTW, where's the Chuck Norris vs Mr T match?

Yeah, I voted for Spidey because Prime's one of my least favorite characters (see my comments about overrated characters), and I'd like to see him get pwned by Spidey.

I fail to see where the bit about "take"-ing is mentioned. Seems to be a straight-forward popularity contest to me.

Besides, Elijah Snow killed Superman without even standing up, and Snow's about a hundred years old.

exactly, this isn't about strength, it's about popularity. wolverine would win from superman IMO (which i like better, that is).

Oh. I didn't read it and assumed that it was the standard "Who would win in a fight" deal. Guess it's not as stacked.
