There was dialogue about it in the Marvel comic pushing 20 years ago...

More likely that Starscream's about to form the Decepticon Wolfpac.

I ain't signing up on EITHER side until I see what their literature has to say. I mean, do they offer a retirement package? Health benefits? DENTAL, for crying out loud? Is there a one-weekend-a-month-type package? Taking an oath to one side or the other really isn't something one should take lightly and just blurt out willy-nilly.

The Decepticons reportedly do not offer a "Dunmurderin'" sign, sadly. If you're an Autobot you get to dress up for Christmas and learn the true meaning of basketball, though. Plus if you're old and a bit useless, they give you a ship and tell you to **** off into space.
Mind, promotion prospects are better with the Decepticons. I mean, anyone has a chance of making leader, no matter how stupid (cf. Megatron, Thunderwing, Galvatron, Thunderwing, Mega Zarak, Thunderwing, Thunderwing... Thunderwing bears repitition because it's proof any idiot can get the top job). It's a little bit harder with the Autobots - the same guy's been running the show for most of the past twenty-odd years, and lots of the top exec positions are taken up by toasters who've been there just as long...

And it's a Marvel US homage --
