Angry Seiberporn steals TFArchives comics!

I just visited seiberporn and decided to check out the new UK comic section when low and behold the US reprints were really the US versions taken from TFArchive. I even compared them to the originals here on the site and they are exactly the same.

Did Ryan Yizqueerdo get permission for this or did he take them without permission?

Because its theft, and its wrong. There isn't even any credit given to this site for the comics.

On what logic does that work?

How would you feel if I decided that you're the latest incarnation of Prime Sinister, and hounded you across the board, addressing you as it in every single post?

It doesn't matter if he was or if he wasn't, all I care about is that you quit it.

Are you perhaps in possession of some evidence to this end? Because I've seen very little to substantiate your allegations...

From what I've heard, Zquiero just acquired one of the sets of scans that have been circulating on CD, which do indeed feature US reprints in some places...

That said, and please don't say I'm supporting Seibertron or trying to knock Brendan's efforts with the US scans, it's quite daft throwing about allegations of theft when Marvel hold the copyright to the material, and to be honest they're even on the Archive illegally - just in the way that, if I'm not mistaken, every single TF website that isn't officially approved of by Hasbro or Takara, is actually infringing copyright to some extent. A sad side-effect of this sea of illegality is no-one who does something like comic scans, screenshots or indeed pretty much anything actually has any legal hold over their work. If I really wanted to, I could download all Seibertron's screenshots and put them on my own website, and Ryan can't sue, because he doesn't actually own any copyright in the images... while it is nice to have permission granted and credited, it isn't necessary... and I guess in this case it's very possible that Ryan doesn't know exactly where the scans come from - indeed, if it's related to one of my CDs at some point [which is more than possible, if far from the only possibility] on most editions there was no individual crediting of scans, just a "Thanks" section on the Read Me file which was rather non-specific, because I don't think I asked anybody's permission at any point, because initially I did the CDs as gifts, and then word of mouth left me with demand... also, if I hadn't have done them, someone else would and I like money. Wow, I am the king of random unrelated trains of thought, ain't I?

To be honest, I'm sure if someone tells Ryan, he'll put the credit up... If anyone does bother e-mailing him, get him to mail me if it does appear to be one of my sets, and I should be able to remember the rest of the credits if necessary...

The only cowards here are you and blaster. Only a coward would voice their problems about someone in public instead of being a man and doing it in private like in PM. So if you have a problem with me do it in PM.

Besides I perfer to go through official channels rather than going the way of the Troll like you and blaster are.

This isn't about the legality of it. Its about the ethics of what he did. There are still rules for doing things online call NET Ethics. If he did get them on a CD he still should have gone to the usual sites and compared what was on the CD to what the sites have and then given proper credit.

You mean you'd rather hide with your tail between your legs while standing behind an admin instead of flat out dealing with it. You really aren't one to be calling me a coward, when you are the one who gets his panties in a bundle over someone saying something and then complains immediately to someone higher up.

And if it is so manly to do things in private, why did you bitch about your problems w/ Seibertron's instruction scans in public like this, when you could have done it privately by PMing or emailing TFArchive, eh? A little hypocracy here...more likely idiocy when trying to cover your ass

If you got a problem with me then be a man an PM me about it instead of doing it in public like a coward. You started this. Not me.

No. I posted it in public because I think the whole board should know. Just like how I thought the board should know about Bouncy going around and causing sh-it on every board she goes to. And if you think its hypocracy then thats just your view on things.

Oh, don't be so stupid...

As regards 'Bouncy', you brought a feud from one board to another. What you thought you were doing is irrelevant.

You're a craven hypocrite, having done just that with reference to 'Bouncy' and the DC Hub. That isn't an opinion, that's damning you by your own twisted logic...
