Never seen any of the He-Man or M.A.S.K. comics...

And damn, have you people sat through a lot of horrible movies!
Here you go BigMak He-Mans 1st comic book appearance.

WAy before the Movie!

And I see your point on the Robocop flick as Marvel issue #1 came out around 1990.

I noticed a lot of you havn't seen 'Ghost World'. Probably because it was one of the only movies listed that wasn't about a super hero.

I strongly reccomend it to everyone. Steve Buscemi gives probably the best performance of his career. The movie has a very interesting take on the human condition and relationships between people. Anybody who is in to character pieces should definately check it out.

And I remember seing once Justice League Of America. Oh. My. God. Guy Gardner is a nice guy in it.

Since we are discussing also other comic book movies I have to mention Road to Perdition. Haven't seen the movie though but the comic was great.

3 did suck, but 2 was the best.

We're probably the only 2 people to remember that movie. it was bad, but I've gotta give props to any movie that gives Jubilee a leading role.

Without Rob Schneider that movie would be absolute crap. He saved the film.

Which Superman movie had Richard Pryor? That one is the best of the series, just because we get to see him and Lex Luthor skiing.

Hows about Mystery Men? Any film that has Ben Stiller, Pee-Wee Herman, and Kel is an instant classic.

The X-Men movie's worst problem: Magneto was possessed by the spark of Megatron for the duration of the film, who then built that crazy mutating machine to kill all the world leaders, which would make the Autobots sad.

I mean, we both know being true to the original spirit of the comic book is whats important rather than Batman is 6'2 not 6'1 arguements. LotR was a cinematic imposibility to do good until Jackson did it via his own ideas. Harry Potter which source was from the best childrens book of all time was pretty much scriped straight from the book but failed to do the book justice. Special effects don't bother me. Superman is still may fav comic book film of all time. By now people should be wise enough to complain that if you really love the comic book DONT see the movie as it can't possibly be true. I love certain comic books and will not make the comparision to the movie version or enjoy the movie less because it's not close enough (Why I won't see Daredevil for a while until I know I'll watch a Buffy/Spiderman clone rather than a quite gritty and urban legend.

OK my ratings:

Superman-10/10. perfect translation and a very well acted Super-man that was taken seriously.
Batman-8/10. Very good
Spider-man-9/10. Fantastic. Could maybe be better but I can't see how (bar the power rangers custom)
X-men-6/10. Nice to see the inteligent angle of the material and the charater (to a degree) by the main intrest here. dumb ending.
Batman Returns-9/10 Very drak very gritty and very strong charater based plot about 2 physco's.
Superman 2-8/10. Very good follow up. Nice to see much of the character based ideas remain.
Flash Gordon-8/10 camp fun. I love this as it fits it era perfectly.
From Hell-6/10. A bit dull considering the material it came from.
Ghost World-10/10-fantastic movie.
Men in Black-7/10. Will Smitch is dull but TJones dead pan delivery shows why actors will always be funnier in comedic movies
Blade-7/10-Resurected the comic book movie from the BAtman & Robin ashes.
Blade 2-6/10. Turn my brain off or on there is still virtually no dialogue.Like playing street fighter.
Tank Girl
Superman 3-6/10. Not bad but not so good
Batman forever-5/10. Stamndard action fair.
Batman & Robin-0/10 Burn in heel joel.
Batman the movie (Adam west version) -10/10. Watch and I asure there are few comedys that can make you laugh more....

Dick Tracy? I'm familiar with the character, but is that movie the one that has the insanely colored buildings and cars?

I haven't seen the Rocketeer since I was a little kid. However, I do want to see Road To Perdition. I've heard good things about it.
